How do you work out x on this circle?

This uses a circle theorem. In a quadrilateral where all four points lie on the circumference on a circle, opposite angles add up to 180 degrees.

Thus, (3x+30) + (2x-15) = 360.

5x + 15 = 360

5x = 345

x = 69
