If you know what current the motor draws then you can use the equation Power = Current x Voltage to work out the voltage of the battery which would best suit the motor. But you should probably select a power source with ratings recommended by the manufacturer of the motor, as using the wrong power source can cause a lot of complications and potentially damage your motor.
Hi @hi,
If you know what current the motor draws then you can use the equation Power = Current x Voltage to work out the voltage of the battery which would best suit the motor. But you should probably select a power source with ratings recommended by the manufacturer of the motor, as using the wrong power source can cause a lot of complications and potentially damage your motor.
Hope this helps!
