Hello,
I was wondering if somebody could help me on this question; it asks to draw a tangent, a topic I have never come across before, I have watched one or two videos which made no sense.
If someone would be able to draw the tangent for me that would help; it may seem like I am not doing my work but that is totally untrue since I firstly don't know what to do and secondly can transfer my knowledge from this answer to Maths and other Physics questions
P.s its quite difficult to do since I don't have an electronic ruler :/
Sorry I forgot to add the actual part of the question 😂.
It should say draw the point at 2.3 volts.
Hey EM, We can’t draw a tangent as a tangent is a straight line that only touches the graph at one point. You can calculate the gradient of the straight line in order to approximate the gradient of the curve at that point. Because there hasn’t been a point specified, it doesn’t make sense where the tangent should be drawn :). For example, the question should say, draw a tangent for when the potential difference is X Volts. Hope that made sense :)
